Movie Review - Blades of Glory
Perhaps nowhere in sports is the marriage of athleticism and grace more evident than in the arena of world champion pairs figure skating--the lifts, the jumps, the routines. It⿿s an elegant world, a rarefied universe, a noble place populated by the crème de la crème of skating elite. Well, it used to be. When the macho, swaggering Chazz Michael Michaels takes to the rink, he is the rock star of the arena, leaving a trail of thrashed ice and shrieking female fans in his wake. The only competitor who can match Michaels is the driven former child prodigy, Jimmy MacElroy. Spotted as a youth executing triple lutzes on the frozen pond of an orphanage, MacElroy was whisked away to days of endless training, and now stands as the picture of poise, the personification of the highest ideals of the men⿿s sport. Michaels and MacElroy have met in finals rounds before, but their latest head-to-head at the World Championships--when they tie for first--is more than either one can bear, and their longstanding rivalry erupts into a no-holds-barred fight. The ensuing brawl not only sets fire to the World Championship⿿s helpless mascot, but lands both athletes in hot water: Chazz and Jimmy are called before the sports governing board, stripped of their gold medals and banned from the sport for life. Now, three-and-a-half years later, both men are still trying to find their way in a world without competitive skating. Michaels has devolved into a drunken party machine, skating as a costumed evil wizard in a kiddie ice review, and MacElroy has been banished to the shoe department of a chain sporting goods store. But then, inspiration (in the form of an over-friendly, former stalker of Jimmy) strikes, and a loophole emerges. To skate again, all Chazz and Jimmy have to do is set aside their long festering hatred of one another and join forces--as the first male/male figure skating pair to compete in the history of the sport.
This is one of the best funny movies that i watch this year and it really made me laugh my balls up my throat especially during the scene where they were skating wif dat Fire and Ice theme, holding Jimmy up at his balls and doin the 69 kinda style.. and FYI, i watched the movie twice!
Overall, dani rates it at: 8.5/10

Navigating through treachery, betrayal and wild waters, they must forge their way to exotic Singapore and confront the cunning Chinese Pirate Sao Feng (Chow Yun-Fat). Now headed beyond the very ends of the earth, each must ultimately choose a side in a final, titanic battle, as not only their lives and fortunes, but the entire future of the freedom-loving Pirate way, hangs in the balance.
This was a long anticipated movie which i quite enjoyed.. but theres lack of humor in Jack Sparrow this time, could had done more though.. but its a great movie and i guess there will be Pirates 4 wif Will Turner being the Captain of The Flying Dutchman.. hmmmm

hmm.. its really a long winded movie, each character having double personality.. truthfully, i almost doze off in the movie.. not to say its boring la.. but its kinda bored oso la.. but spideys new black suit is cooooooool.. LOL
overall, 6/10..

Slow.Stress.Broke.Tired Syndrome (S.S.B.T.)
This is currently what im facing.. as in like nowadays.. you noe.. nowadays, not only today..
Slow
I wonder why does everything that i have or facing is so slow? My comp is slow, Streamyx connection is so fucking slow, traffic in SS15 lagi slow, ppl do work alwiz slow, TNB, Pos Malaysia counter damn fucking slow.. why do this happen? everyday, im facing wif all these nonsense.. not even a single day dat is not.. minus my car la.. i noe its slow too..
every thing goes so slow, thus it leads to:

And everyday i had to endure all kind of stress.. i juz finished 2 presentations in 2 days.. and trust me, its all last minute work.. what's dat to stress? stress finding ppl to do work la! stress finding information, stress wif the Fitness First workers la!
Stress wif work.. had to cover ppls work while they enjoy their holidays.. and moreover i had to do fucking assignments.. pls take note that i still got 1 more presentation and 1 more assignment to hand up in 2 weeks time.. and guess wut, my fellow groupmates haven even start worrying bout it yet.. c'mon.. i noe you guys your parents print money, but mine dont.. pls be understanding la..
so sick and tired of all last minute works..

yea.. this is a broke month for me wif all the bombs.. its my bad too as i dint save some cash before this month.. but im seriously broke.. or should i say broked-ed.. been eating maggi for the past few weeks.. and i found a lot of hair at my bathtub.. so wut does dat means? faster get me out of May..

im dead tired.. everything i'd been running up and down, doin this doin that, handling this handling that.. i havent had a decent holiday since last year.. been working and studying and doin assignment.. work work work work.. moreover had to shift table.. last whole week, my hands are like cranes carrying tables up and down, in and out.. this week had to go for table installation.. why do i do this all and not like somebody dat gets to take leave every week? to earn a living for myself.. i shall see wut do i earn for this month..
in conclusion, very simple, im having a SSBT Syndrome.

well, at last the Players Challenge 2007 has concluded.. and well, its another event that i worked hard and bagged nothing home.. thru all the hard trainings and all, i failed in the last minute.. real sorry to zayd though, but cant be sorry to him though.. coz he oso made errors.. MUAHAHAHA.. and he owes me punches to the nose.. LOL.. its like, when im at top confidence, he's low.. den he's confidence is back, and mine drop.. its like so wtf and we were so close to get placing.. so near yet so far.. sigh.. but then, really proud of our partnership as we kicked out some of the favourites such as shaun/hwai.. waiting for our next partnership outing... waiting waiting...

and for the other events such as rookie doubles and pro am, well dont mention bout it.. everythings got an end though.. and for mix, it turned out to be so fun when me and evybaby dingdonged.. LOL.. so end up nothing better to do, walking around taking pics and yipyap-ing wif foosers..
